Madame Precedent, given name Jaila Moore, was born in St. Louis, MO. Born into a family of creators which included designers, musicians and artists. She spent her adolescence in Houston, TX and later obtained a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University.

Madame Precedent is a humanitarian who seeks to not only connect the members of our society but help them grow as individuals. She believes that people are not just different but dynamic. Her mission is to help create an environment that celebrates peoples' differences and facilitates understanding. Madame Precedent strives to make that happen by being an exemplar of diversity and inclusion. Her purpose is to inspire people to make decisions and operate daily life with pride in who they are and confidence in their existence. She writes and performs to plant and grow hope in humans. Humans are the greatest resource on the planet and should be cared for and protected. we all deserve human rights and equal opportunities to be the best versions of ourselves. we need each other and we can only make change when united. She chooses to make change with her voice. 

If you have listened to any of her poetry, had any conversations with her or even interacted with her on social media she would like to thank you. you are all a part of her 20+ year campaign to be President of the United States.  While Madame Precedent is the pseudonym she writes and performs under, Jaila Moore aspires to be the President of the United States and will be seen on the 2044 polls. Every time she performs, she is taking the opportunity to set a precedent for how a strong and insightful people lead. She uses her platform to guide and connect people of all backgrounds.
